Indications

The main regions for application of the graft are foot, knee, elbow and hand, as well as interventions on the child’s musculoskeletal system. The bone graft is excellently suited for the fixation of small and smallest bone fragments in osteochondritis dissecans or scaphoid fractures, arthrodeses on IP, DIP and PIP joints, partial wrist arthrodeses, fixation of fractures of the long bones on the upper extremity and fixation of transplants for replacement of condyle (Mega-OATS). At the foot, the bone screw is used in the Weil & Austin operation and metatarsal fractures (pseudarthrosis).
